See, download or correct your data, pause your account for a while, or delete it completely. The choice is yours.
Sign in and do it yourself
Signing in opens the account page: download, pause and delete are there.
Cannot sign in?
Send a request. Give the registered mobile or email: we confirm with you there before doing anything, so nobody can delete someone else’s account.
1. Four options

| Correct my data | Fix your name yourself. Mistakes in the register, such as class, roll or the guardian's number, are fixed by the school office. |
| Pause my account | Your school roles are set aside and you are signed out everywhere. Your data stays. Sign in again to turn it back on. |
| Delete my account | Hidden at once, and you are signed out everywhere. You have 30 days to change your mind. Then the nightly job deletes it. |
2. How each person deletes

3. What deletion does
- At once: the profile is hidden, school roles are set aside, and you are signed out everywhere.
- For 30 days: change your mind by signing in as before, and everything comes back.
- After 30 days: the login, name, phone, email and PIN are deleted. The school's records stay, with no link to your account.
4. What stays, and why
- Anonymous totals, such as a class or upazila average. No one can be identified from them.
- The school's register, attendance, marks and result records, for as long as the school keeps them. These are the school's official records.
- Proof of consent and of deletion (when, and who confirmed), for as long as the law requires. The proof of deletion holds no name, only a code.
- If a lawful investigation is under way, the related data, only until it ends.
5. Without the app or a login
- Send a request with the form on this page, giving a mobile number or email.
- Write to hello@shaaro.app with the subject "Delete account". Give the registered phone number and school name. We will verify by contacting that number.
- Ask the head teacher or the school office. They can pass the request to us.
We acknowledge every request within 7 working days and finish within 30 days. We always confirm with the person before acting, so nobody can delete someone else's Shaaro account.
