Signing in only proves who you are. A role comes from an approval. From upazila level up, nobody sees a student’s name, only numbers.

| Class teacher | A teacher asks and someone else confirms; the head teacher can set it directly. |
| Head teacher | The Shaaro team checks a new school within 72 hours, or at once with the team’s four-letter code. |
| Office | The head teacher makes the account. |
| Upazila and district officers | A post on the authority’s official list, taken at the first sign-in with the post’s mobile. On transfer the Shaaro team hands the post over. |
| Trainers and tutors | The Shaaro team opens the account; a tutor can start alone with a name and a mobile. |
| Student | From the school register, when the school gives an account. |
